“Good food with excellent service”
Reviewed March 29, 2014 via mobile

My wife and I had a dinner here and it was very nice. The calamari was bland, but the clam chowder and our entrees were very good.
Service wears excellent and the staff was very, very friendly.
It fills up quickly with events and any college activity, so I recommend reservations.

“Excellent food”
Reviewed March 22, 2014

The Wooster Inn offers excellent, delicious food options in Wooster! I ordered a pasta here which was very well made! Options here are plenty, and service is very good too. Just walking distance from the College of Wooster. Would definitely recommend for a good meal.

“Outstanding fresh food”
Reviewed November 16, 2013

Food here is chef prepared, not food service. There is an upstairs dining room and downstairs pub. Each has it's own menu, but all food is available in both venues. The pub is casual with a TV and bar. The dining room looks onto a field (golfcourse?) and on a sunny day in November was irresistible. We had wine - good choices. The soup of the day was clam chowder. To die for. Not the white gummy mess usually served, a hearty soup full of clams, potatoes, carrots & celery. A bit salty, but that isn't unusual with soup. My entree was chicken pot pie. Yum. The pie part was a covering of phyllo that had been woven. The chicken part was also homemade and yummy. I will be back. There are also guest rooms attached, but can't comment as I was a lunch only guest. Lunch prices range from $10 to 35 - good variety from which to choose.

“The Wooster Inn was a very pleasant surprise in fine dining”
Reviewed November 3, 2013

The Wooster Inn was a very pleasant surprise in fine dining. As part of a group attending a conference, we were hosted to a wine pairing with our dinner. Nothing disappointed from appetizer to desert. Chef Ken Bogucki, explained the reason for his wine selection that accompanied each course. Being from the east coast, I am quite familiar with crab cakes but I was equally intrigued by the crab and shrimp cake we had as an appetizer. The Wooster Inn Wedge with Bleu cheese, egg, bacon, red onion, spiced pecans, tomato, Peppercorn Ranch was extremely pleasing. Our Certified Angus Beef® entrée was cooked to perfection and topped off with a delicious dessert. This restaurant is definitely worth patronizing because you won’t be disappointed in the meal or the service.
