We had reservations for dinner at Broken Rocks and were seated immediately. The staff was incredibly friendly and efficient. Because we had theater tickets and were on a tight schedule, they let us know what entrees would work best for us. What an interesting and varied menu! There is also a commitment to using local produce. Our meals were delicious. Their soups are made from scratch (4 choices that evening) and I had the tomato garlic which was lucious. The people sitting at the table next to us each had pizzas which looked divine and that couple said they were delicious. We would definitely return and would recommend Broken Rocks to anyone visiting the Wooster, OH area. My only regret is that we didn't have time for their yummy looking made-from-scartch desserts.

We recently spent a week in Ohio and ate many places. Broken Rock was head and shoulders above the rest. Nice atmosphere, eclectic menu and fantastic service - all for a great price. The kids menu was fantastic - very cool selection of beverages and meals. They were easily able to accommodate my Gluten free diet with an above average selection of items. We all enjoyed our food immensely from the Kefta burgers to pizza. Dessert was also amazing. Our only regret was not returning a second time!

We happened upon Wooster, OH and Broken Rocks on a cross-country road trip, and couldn't have been happier with this find. The town is adorable and the restaurant captures "small-town chic" perfectly. Both meals were first-class, and the waitstaff was attentive and professional. For the price, it was one of the best places we've visited in a long time.

We were greeted with a friendly smile and seated promptly. Our server was excellent and accommodated us with our every request, with a smile. I ordered the Cajun chicken on fettuccine which was spicy and very tasty but was also mentioned by our server before I ordered it, just in case I didn't like spicy. My only complaint with the entrée was that the chicken was rubbery, tasted like it was microwaved - a real disappointment. The light cream flavor, fettuccine and peppers were excellent. My husband had the jambalaya and he loved it - it too was very spicy. But, he also likes spicy. It had real Andouille sausage (not Kielbasa that some restaurants like to use) and very tasty shrimp. The portions are average, not huge portions but not small....but, just the right amount. Their sourdough bread is good, not wonderful, and they do sell loaves to go. If in the neighborhood, we would visit again. The atmosphere is very nice and very clean.

This is a good soup and sandwich restaurant--so good, in fact, that it lured us back for dinner, on the same day. It's cheerful, unpretentious and accessible; the wait staff is uncommonly friendly, and the prices were distinctly reasonable.
