“"Great" doesn't even begin to describe these burgers”
Reviewed January 2, 2013

A friend suggested going here for lunch. I had no idea it was one of Michael Simon's restaurants and after eating there, I'm not surprised that it is! Words can't describe how yummy the burger was! The prices are a bit in the high range, but once you bite into the burger, you know why. Top quality ingredients, excellent service, and a great location!

“Average @ best”
Reviewed December 29, 2012

We recently ate at the B Spot on Chagrin Blvd. The burgers are average tasting and rather pricy The shakes are really good. I ordered the Apple Pie Vanilla Bacon and Bourbon shake - yummy. My wife ordered a Vanilla with a kick also. At the other end of the table my nephew ordered the same as me, my daughter ordered a chocolate, chocolate, chocolate shake.

While our wonderful waitress was delivering the shakes to the table, I got mine, she had a small accident at the other end of the table and dropped three shakes. Well stuff happens and that was no big deal - the funny part was just how high the fall out from the shakes went - apparently all the way to the ceiling.

So several minutes after the "dropping of the shakes" we discovered that the shakes had stuck to the ceiling, and then it began raining milk shakes. "It's raining milk shakes, hallelujah, it's raining milk shakes, hallelujah."

Five people in our party all got a nice chocolate, chocolate, chocolate, apple pie, vanilla bourbon shower.... They looked lovely.

Now while I understand that accidents happen, this restaurant failed in the fact that they did not offer anything, they did not offer to deduct the cost of shake, they did not offer a discount on the meal, they did not offer to cover dry cleaning of any of the five coast that were completely shaken (not stirred.)

As any good restaurant owner knows publicity by word of mouth can help and hinder the growth of a restaurant - taking care of your customers should always be number one.

So overall:
The food, average at best.
The shakes, the only reason to go here.
The service, duck and cover, you might get milked...

I was just disappointed that this place did not have more of a selection of vegetarian dishes like most places. (veggie burger substitute)

“Fresh Never Frozen”
Reviewed December 8, 2012

The meat makes the difference. It's a special blend of beef cuts and it's fresh never frozen. You can taste the difference. And they make their own Ketchup and their own pickles. Would highly recommend the fries too!

Can get crowded at times. Tend to go on off hours. Wide selection of burgers. Fries and milkshakes are fantastic.
