I have read several reviews and thought a more current review would help.
My wife and I had dinner reservations this past weekend and our experience was very good.
The hostess and waitress were very friendly and our waitress ( PAM ) made sure we were taken care with anything from water to more bread.
There was a table of 16 next to us she was also working and she always checked with us for anything we needed ( even extra olives for the martini )
We had the raspberry brie as an appetizer. It was excellent. The fruit and bread were very fresh and the brie was prepared just right.
I had a chopped salad, which by the way is 1/2 price with an entrée, It was very good.
My wife is a prime rib person and her entrée was cooked to her liking and was of nice size.
I had the ship and shore which is a filet and scampi. It was excellent.
Yes it is an older style of restaurant, but that is part of its charm. You can actually have a conversation with your significant other or group as it does not have the loud bar areas close by.
So maybe some changes have been made based on other comments but we think you should give the Cabin a shot.
