As a Marriott member and a frequent traveler to this Courtyard, I was shocked and quite disappointed when I visited on August 24 and 25, 2013. The staff acted as though they were doing me a favor to even be on the premises, gave us a poor room to start with (despite the fact that I have a long-standing profile and also had a reservation), and then the room that we were sent to had an air conditioning system that made so much noise that my wife and I were barely able to sleep. We chose not to ask for any further changes since the first change request was treated with disdain and not just a little aggravation. I'm back to the Townplace Suites right behind the Courtyard, where the rooms appear to be cleaner and more upscale and the staff is happy to welcome me each time I travel there.
This Courtyard needs some direct attention from Marriott Corporate, including staff training program about attentiveness, courtesy, racial diversity and general hospitality.More
