This is a Metro Park unlike any other in Central Ohio. Two elderly sisters. Grace and Mary Innis, loved to garden and left their house and land to the park system years ago. Since that time, adjacent land has been purchased, and the gardens have been expanded. There are a large number of volunteers who keep the plantings looking beautiful at all times. Upon entering there's a sign with all the "don'ts": biking, pets, jogging, music, etc. The result is that the atmosphere is serene and contemplative when walking the grounds. I've also visited in the winter when snow has fallen, and even though everything is dormant, it's still beautiful.

Lovely. Enjoy programs, including children's, adult, fitness, and music and stroll the grounds. Art, in various forms, often on display in the Innis house. Paths are paved as well as gravel and boardwalks. You can see the pride of the staff & volunteer organization with the meticulous maintenance. Enjoy.

Very nice when everything is bloomin. Get good place for a nice quite stroll during Spring and Fall season. Do have special classes everyones in a while, check Franklin County Metro Parks.

Innis Woods is part of the Metro Park system, but doesn't contain the traditional playground area that most parks do. It consists of several paths that wind through the woods (some paths are gravel, some are wooden deck-like paths). There is a huge rose garden, a very nice water fountain feature, and flowers/plants tend to be marked so you can identify the plant. It is a quiet place to enjoy an evening walk in the Westerville area. It's very nicely kept and there always seems to be a metro parks ranger around.
