“Food in the Dark”
Reviewed September 6, 2013

This is a lovely dark restaurant with a lovely dark bar. I was there alone for dinner and dined there as well with a friend. The food was excellent and the service was timely, efficient, and responsive. This is a traditional place to meet new people (i.e. a meet market) especially on Friday night. Weekends it seems to go a little upscale. A lot of folks were wearing business dress (suits and ties for men) and reservations are a must. Even the bar is used for reserve seating.

The bar is crowded (or was any time I was there) and noisy. It's a great place to people watch and there is music every night (a piano player who also plays the sax very, very well). The wine list is decent and the cheese plate is absolutely excellent

“Pricey but consistently good”
Reviewed August 12, 2013

I travel to West Chester several times a year and always manage to find a night for Jag's. Whether it's a large group in a private room or a steak at the bar on my own, I find the service consistent, pleasant, attentive and midweat honest. Cincinnati is blessed with a few good steak houses but they require a drive - Jag's is close and convenient. Prices are up there but a value compared to other cities around the country

“Fun Band on Saturday, Did not eat but good drinks”
Reviewed August 7, 2013

Although we did not eat here, the food we saw go by looked scrumptious! We had drinks starting at 8:30 on a Saturday night, and there was a singer and piano player in the middle of the bar, Nice enjoyable music, easy listening, today sounds. Then @ 9:30 they left to set up at the dance floor, and a 7 piece band played the best dance music! OK< not so much today's music, but from the 70's thru today. Upbeat every song, not one slow dance, not too loud, upscale clientele of all ages. Lots of fun!

“Good food but way overpriced”
Reviewed August 6, 2013 via mobile

What's good:

The warm king crab legs
The bone in filet
The chop salad
The sea bass
The ribeye

What hurts:

Priced more expensive than a NYC steakhouse in middle of Ohio
Seems to be less and less busy the last few times I have eaten here

Great for the expense account but otherwise not worth it my opinion
