“good wholesome entertainment”
Reviewed January 9, 2013

Nice atmosphere and funny, friendly staff. Good story telling and music. The actors did a good job engaging the audience and keeping you guessing. Very clean and I would like to bring my children back with me sometime.

“Hilarious Show! Great Family fun”
Reviewed October 12, 2012

I saw this show as part of a bus group from South Carolina in October. This show is brand new in Amish Country this year and we we're looking forward to seeing the show. I must say that we have not laughed that hard in a LONG TIME! Everything was so well done. The seating is very comfortable and the auditorium has great lighting and sound. The bluegrass music band was great, including their fiddle player!

We especially enjoyed Lynyrd in the second act. He spent time going around the crowd talking to people and telling jokes. Extremelly good at improv! There were people in tears in our row!

Our whole group had a great time and was laughing all the way back to the hotel. Kudos to the cast and staff. We'll be back next year!

This new attraction to the beautiful Amish Country is delightful. In a gorgeous, renovated barn you can tell how much these people have put into this project. The actors, staff and musicians present a great variety show. You can tell there is a lot of talented individuals on stage! If you go to have fun, you will. The audience makes a difference. Be fun and Have fun with the Amish Country Theatre!

“Checklist before the show”
Reviewed October 2, 2012

Okay - The Traveler is giving you a checklist to take to this show to help with your enjoyment of it. Prepare to be surprised by the antics of the MC Lynard - a master of improvisational comedy. There is a lot going on up in that little cranium of his.

One of the showtimes starts at 7 PM, which is a perfect time to take the kids to after a long day in Holmes County. All ages will identify with some part of the mayhem. The show is a mixture of excellent bluegrass along with skits and audience participation bits. The amish stand-up act is especially interesting. Prepare to be singled out for some stage time, if you are not careful. There is food and drink at intermission along with CDs and T-shirts to buy.

OK, Checklist:
Gum, Queen, Tijuana Brass, Pistol Packin' Momma, the Sun, Dancing Amish, Rockytop, ESP, and a poor donkey.
