Description: Full service deli, bulk foods, staple goods, specialty and locally grown/produced foods. Lunch is served until 3PM daily. Our deli and bulk foods are sourced from the Amish in Ohio and Pennsylvania. We sell Ohio Proud specialty food items and other gift food items. Our eggs are locally harvested, from free range, non GMO fed and antibiotic free chickens, and our milk also comes from Amish country and is packaged in super jugs to maintain and prolong freshness. We sell direct trade and locally roasted coffee and tea and hand-dip premium ice cream. Because we buy in bulk and repackage, we save our customers money. Many of our items that come from Holmes County are actually less expensive than what they are being sold for there. We believe in selling for the resell, and utilize a smaller margin scale to encourage our customers to visit us frequently, rather than hitting them hard never to see them again. Our staff is friendly, helpful and willing to assist and answer any questions. We encourage product requests, feedback and suggestions to make our business the best it can be for our customers who become our friends. We have been called the "Cheers" of small town markets. Stop in and see us sometime.

“Best kept secret in downtown Troy”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 3, 2014 via mobile

The bulk barn is a great place to pick up a sandwich for lunch. They have a variety of sandwiches from grilled cheese to ham & cheese or subs. The Italian sub is absolutely scrumptious. I also enjoy the ham and cheese. The portions are generous and the prices are reasonable. In addition to sandwiches, you could choose to order a chicken burrito for just $3.99. You can in your visit with Handist ice cream. If you're not in the mood for lunch you can always shop and pick up bulk food items including candy, dips, flours, nuts, spices & more. They have a wide variety of gluten-free products. A great place to stop in and pick up lunch and take it to one of the area parks.
