“The Coldwater Café is the quintessential small town Ohio restaurant”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 7, 2013

My wife always enjoys a trip to Tipp City for some shopping and nursery visits. The Coldwater Café is a distinctive dining experience that provides the quality of quaintness that Lebanon or Waynesville offers.

The Coldwater Café is our Tipp City restaurant of choice. The Coldwater Café is in the town center and worth the drive beyond the fast food joints near I-75.

Quaint (again) describes The Coldwater Café. The Coldwater Café is not a “dressed” up beer house. The Coldwater Café is a restaurant that one feels comfortable in treating one’s wife.

The menu choices are neat, and there is a limited wine service. The Coldwater Café may provide some time for conversation as lunch or dessert is prepared. The hostess is very welcoming, and the servers will discuss the menu items.

The Coldwater Café is the quintessential small town Ohio restaurant that pleases ladies and gentlemen. The Coldwater Café also seems to attract ladies who are enjoying conversation. The fare is appropriate for the tariff. In our view, Ohio could profit from more Coldwater Cafés and fewer burger joints.

“Hidden Gem in Tipp”

I have been to Coldwater Cafe twice and both times I have had a great experience including atmosphere, meal and fine wines. The interior is charming and the food is unique, flavorful and well presented.

“A Surprising Find in Tipp City”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 15, 2013

I was shocked by the great selection at Coldwater Cafe. It is not the sort of place you'd expect to find in Tipp City.

The food was great and our server was very attentive. Great atmosphere inside what used to be an old bank. They've kept the vault intact, and you can eat in the vault.

I would not pick this as a place to bring children.

“Consistently great!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 10, 2013

I have gone here for lunch and dinner and have never been disappointed. My favorites are the spinach and artichoke dip appetizer, cream of mushroom soup and the filet you can cut with a butter knife! This is my husbands favorite filet also. Extensive wine selection and dessert menu.

“great potato soup”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 25, 2013

The very best potato soup in town, along with wonderful homemade breads make this a favorite lunch place. Also a variety of sandwichs, salads and dinner entrees are available. They offer call ahead seating -so that helps us out-of-towners who didn't want to walk around with the pagers. Closed on Mondays.
