“An experience”

The food here is very good and portions are generous. It is entertaining to be at a hibachi table watching and experiencing the fun of asian food preparation as well. Get ready to catch some food in your mouth!

“Incredible Portion Size for Price”
Reviewed April 29, 2013

I was impressed from the moment we walked in - easy to find, quaint atmosphere, very friendly service. I was even more impressed with the portion size (strongly recommend the sushi dinner #4) for the price. This was one of the few times I have left a sushi restaurant completely full. Also of note - keep an eye on Groupon for deals for Koto Buki. And, the only possible issue with Koto Buki could be if there is a wait - the lobby area is very small and could become crowded easily. If you go on Friday/Saturday night you might want to consider making reservations or getting there early.

“Good food”
Reviewed April 8, 2013

Loved the food although the show was a bit over done. Didn't like the obscene little man putting oil on the griddle -- especially not with children present. Good was great however and done to my specifications. Good, fun atmosphere at the hibachi tables.

“Great Sushi, best around!!!”
Reviewed April 4, 2013

Ok, now some people do not like raw fish. Ii never tried it before. Once I had it, I am converted. My wife only eats the cooked stuff like the california roll, but atleast she'll go. Nice place to go, many memories.

“Not as good as it used to be.”
Reviewed March 19, 2013

I haven't been here in a couple of years and things have changed and not necessarily for the best. The service was good and the food was OK but some of the things that were on the menu were gone such as broiled fish and a plain tray of Sashimi were not to be found. Having been to Japan a number of times, Kotobuki used to be food just like Japan. Now it has a heavy emphasis on sushi and they have added some Korean dishes. All this aside, it is still a place worth going to and it is an enjoyable experience. Enjoy it for what it is. It is still worth the trip.
