My wife and I stayed at the Dutch Host Inn for an anniversary weekend trip. We booked the holiday package, which includes dinner for two, breakfast for two and a host of other free items at venues throughout the area. The package is a great deal and we had a lot of fun driving around, hitting most of the locations (we cut a few out so that we could spend more time at the places that we were most interested in), and visiting a couple wineries. The staff is very friendly and helpful and although the rooms aren't luxury, they are cozy, comfortable and well worth the price. Plus, they are the cleanest rooms we have ever stayed in! If you plan a trip in the area, just don't plan anything for Sunday, because nothing worth seeing is open. Also, start early because nearly everything closes by six. Which creates the perfect opportunity to head back to the inn and crack open a bottle of wine that you just bought.

We stayed here last week while in the area to see the musical at the Carlisle Inn. Very convenient as it is just across the road from the Carlisle, price is low, with a basic breakfast available. Extremely clean and comfortable.

Room Tip: All rooms are about the same.

I stayed at the Dutch Host Inn for a family reunion. The location is good and the staff was friendly. The decor is dated, but the room was very clean (not many amenities so bring your own cream rinse, lotion, etc.)

We have stayed here on several occasions over the past two years and we are never disappointed. The rooms are beyond clean, the property is beautifully maintained, and the price is always right especially with the packages they offer. We also love the location, quiet but not to far away from everything.

I have stayed at the Dutch Host Inn several times and have never been disappointed. The rooms are the cleanest I have ever stayed in and the staff is awesome. Down home feel, Amish furniture, every room with a microwave and refrigerator. The grounds have some beautiful settings to sit on a swing or in a gazebo in the evening. I recommend this wonderful place to anyone from singles, romantic couple getaway and families. They have rooms and suites and even a large meeting room that could accommodate a family reunion. Look for their awesome winter packages that even include meals. Can't be beat!

Room Tip: All rooms are great.

Close to Breitenbach Winery, Warther Museum, Heini's and a multitude of Amish fine furniture shops this is a must visit. Less expensive than some neighboring lodgings, but the cleanest I've seen. Quaint and quiet with cute gazebos and benches around the grounds for relaxing with a bottle of wine and cheese from your favorite Amish market. Jacuzzi worth the extra cash. They also offer special rates with cheese & wine included. They go fast!
