We had a good Swiss style lunch (brats and kraut), quick and pleasant service. We enjoyed the hand made Swiss looking booths and especially enjoyed the hand made quilts lining the walls that were for sale. A great interlude in our exploration of the Amish country and their cheese making.

The day we ate there it was not crowded at all. The food was good and our waitress was very good. The little town lost a lot when the train left.

We stopped at Beachy's because all the other restaurants around Walnut Creek and Berlin were too busy. When we got to Sugarcreek Beachy’s was not busy at all, so we decided to give it a try. Well there was a reason why it was not busy. The service was really slow. We waited almost 10 full minutes for the waitress to come to our table. And we waited 45 minutes to get our food. The food was nothing special. The pan fried chicken was dry and over seasoned with pepper. The chicken on the Amish Sampler was good, but the roast beef tasted like it was from a can, and the homemade dressing was bland. Food was overpriced for the quality. I would not go back again or recommend to friends and family. There are much better restaurants in the area that are worth the wait.

Real good food, reasonable prices, waitress very at tentative. We went to eat there for my eldest daughters birthday. My granddaughters liked there meal. And the waitress brought out a small cake with a candle for my daughters birthday , that was thoughtful.

Our first time to visit Beachy's happened this past weekend. We were taken there by a "local". He stated that he ate here all the time with his wife over the past decade.

The place is clean and inviting with beautiful quilts used as art on the walls. The smells are homey and make your mouth water.

The food was good down home cooking with a Swiss spin. Try the potatoes with Swiss cheese, ham loaf, mashed potatoes, Ruben’s and the PIES! Amazing pies! We had the ground cherry pie and I can not wait to go back for more. The flakey crust and not too sweet filling satisfied my sweet tooth and eye!

This will be a regular lunch/dinner stop for us when we are down in Amish Country near Sugar Creek.

Thank you owners for being consistent and serving up hearty good food!

If a local has eaten here for decades...it works for us and we know it won't change anytime soon!

PS: the apple butter and fresh bread.....what more can I say!
