Don't let the old building and gravel lot turn you away from a wonderful place to have an excellent meal. Taylor's Tavern is probably one of the best places to go for a great meal in the area. I have tried just about everything on the menu and have not been disappointed. The steaks are juicy and filling, the Reuben is the best, french fries are fresh cut, quesadillas are stuffed full, the Taylor's nachos are actually loaded. The inside of the restaurant is kept up nicely with decent seating. They do have a nice large patio with outdoor bar, fire pit, and corn hole boards. Taylor's Tavern is great place to get a nice meal or have a drink with your friends. I would say that if you have children and would like to bring them it would be best to bring them during the afternoon due to them also entertaining to the bar guest. Service can be a bit slow on busy nights due to lack of dinning room help, but not always. The staff is very friendly and prompt. My only complaint is that I wish they would pave the gravel lot. It can get very muddy on rainy days. I have never had a bad experience from Taylor's Tavern and definitely recommend you give it a try.
