“Nice Evening”

This was our first time at La Comedia. We were there with a group from work. We saw "It's a Wonderful Life". The food was buffet style- so you know pretty much what you will get. It was good but not great, but in my opinion you don't go to a dinner theatre necessarily for the food. I have yet to go to a dinner theatre and have rememberable food. The show was great. The woman you played Mary had a great voice and the man who played Clarence was extremly funny. He sang the traditional "O Holy Night" at the end of the show and it was fantastic!! The man who played George Bailey tried to sound a little too much like Jimmy Stewart at times but it wasn't offensive. Overall it was a very nice night. Not sure if I would pay the $65+ per person myself but as a once every few years event it probably would be worth it. The place was packed so it must be doing something right.

I can't say which is worse. The decor, the food, or the same ole same productions. Almost as depressing as Willie Loman.

We usually go for the Christmas show. The food is very good. You have enough time to talk and eat before the show starts. Dessert is served during intermission. Nice break from sitting. The gift shop is sparse but usually has some interesting items.

Very Good Food and a good show for reasonable price. Very nice night out. The food is a buffet but with dishes like sweet potato suffle and beer battered fish it is not your average buffet. The show changes quarterly and is usually a musical.

LaComedia is good theater and great food. The service is pleasant and efficient. We really enjoy the small theater feel. The food alone is enough to draw us. Oh, the sweet potato souffle! Take your family or friends to La Comedia. You will not be sorry!
