“Great food in a bare bones setting~”
Reviewed August 10, 2011

This is a great little take out joint. My husband swears by the shrimp with cocktail sauce. Take it with you, or stay and eat at the picnic tables. You may end up competing with the seagulls, though!

“Ultra fresh and picnic tables provided too”
Reviewed May 24, 2011

We decided to eat here after a full day at Cedar Point. The parking is close, free, and easy. We were hungry! We decided on full dinners of perch and walleye. Wow! Were these fish fresh! Just delicious and fried perfectly. The dinners came with cole slaw and fries, both very good. We felt the prices were very fair considering the large portions we were given. The clerk was very friendly and even asked us how we liked our meal after we finished on the outside picnic tables. If we didn't live in NC we would be back regularly. Outstanding! Just a great meal to end our visit to the area.We even brought back some of the smoked fish that was offered.

“Excellent perch and walleye!”
Reviewed June 6, 2010

Fresh perch and walleye fillets with a very light batter coating and cooked to perfection. The sides are average with coleslaw, fries and a roll being the standard sides for a dinner plate. The place is take-out only but has several tables just outside and right on the water with a nice view. Across the street is a small park with a gazebo too. We rated the atmosphere as high because we like little places like this but a fancy fish house it is not. We were surprised to see that they serve fried okra, cooked greens and cornbread too which is not something you normally don't see outside of the South. The person at the counter sad those were popular options and that they sold a lot of them. We didn't try them as we were there for the fish and not something we can have at home any time. If you're in the area definitely give this place a try!

“Best perch in Ohio”
Reviewed January 19, 2008

Their perch is wonderful. The place isn't much. You go in and there is a counter to order food, a counter to buy fish, and a pic-up counter. THe only place to sit is a bench. They are only open seasonal, but right next door is a park with picnic tables, or 100 yards to the east is a park with more parking and tables and a horde of canadian geese. Basically all there food is fried. The okra and mushrooms were okay, we still order them. But oh, the fish is so good. The fries are good too. They have a sandwich which is loaded with fish, also a dinner special with fries and a little thing of coleslaw, or you can buy the fish buy the pound.
