Took my family of six on a last minute two day vacation, and I was surprised by how nice the cottages and location is for the family. If you have high standards like a Disney experience, then you may not be impressed, but for most of the major theme park campground experiences, this one was very good. I hope the photos help. btw: The kids loved feeding the seagulls while watching the sailboats, speedboats and charter boats pass by all morning. Be sure to bring your own silverware, cups, plates etc. There is a small fridge and microwave but no toaster oven. I was actually surprised by the moderate grocery prices at the general store, which I thought would be a prime target for my wallet.

Room Tip: From what I recall, the higher your cottage number means you're closer to the park with a shorte...

Obviously Cedar Point is one of the most fun family vacations available ~ staying at Lighthouse Point made our experience even more enjoyable. Our own little private cottage ~ plenty of room for 2 adults and 3 children ~ the kids loved being able to hang out in the loft ~ I enjoyed being able to cook on the charcoal grill ~ it is right there on the property with early entry to the park ~ a great place to come back and relax to after long and Awesome days at the park ~ a peaceful walking path along the lake made for a nice start to the day ~ knowledgeable, friendly and courteous staff that really seemed to enjoy working there. We loved everything about it and will definitely be making this an annual event!

This was our first time to Camper Village in many years. Our reservation was for Lighthouse Point, the newer part of the campground. It is very nice, & beautifully landscaped. Our site was #228, a pull thru full hookup site. It was very convenient, right across from the check in office & store. There is a shuttle bus stop there to take you to anywhere on Cedar Point property. This is a very nice perk to staying there, along with getting into the Park 1 hour early. Also it is a short walk to Soak city, Challenge Park, The entrance by the Magnum, the beach, & the Breakers hotel. All in all very convenient & in my opinion a great value.

Very nice park . clean , cement pads , shrubs for privacy , cable tv , 50 amp hydro , nice pool & hot tub , built in BBQ on lot , store with necessities , good shuttle bus service . Price comparable
to other tourist attraction areas . You cannot reserve a specific spot . Admission into Cedar Point 1 hour early is nice for the most popular rides . It is nice be be able to come and go into Cedar Point as you please for that midday rest . This was not our first time staying here and would stay here again .

I really enjoyed my experience at Lighthouse Point. i stayed there for 2 nights with my family last weekend, we had great weather and all of the rides were open. It was the perfect spot to take my grandsons for a fun filled weekend. it was a short walk to the park and the cabin provided everything we needed for our stay. The close walk provided a place to rest for the adults and eight members of my family slept comfortably. i plan on doing the same thing next year at the same place.

good location, great fishing, great park. the camp site was good. they should permit you to ride bikes in the campground.we had a enclosed wood fire which was nice.everything at the campground was clean and neat.we have been here many times before. the price is alittle high but the location is great. you can leave the park and go back to your camper and eat. then go back to the park. very nice.

My family and I loved Camper Village. Everything was so clean and beautifully laid out. It was very convenient to be able to walk into the park. Although we had rv's on both sides, the landscaping provided privacy. One of my grandsons is a fisherman, and he loved the pier. When we arrived, I had only scheduled one night, because I thought the price seemed really high compared to other places we've camped. We liked it so much, we ended up staying a second night. With the location, amenities, and park discounts, we felt the price was fair. Hope to go back again during the Halloween season.

Room Tip: We had both a full hookup pull thru and back in. Both were great but I preferred the privacy of the...
