“Surprise find turns into best budget saver and was sooo delicious”

This place was small and unassuming, your regular chinese-thai joint, but boy, was the pad thai amazing! i also had the chicken satay appetizer which was to die for, and all the meals are around 6-7 bucks. the cashier was super nice and very patient in answering all my questions. also a nice plus, the chicken was real chicken breast, not the questionable looking stuff most fast asian places serve. sound too good for such a great price? go see for yourself. best kalahari meal we had and sure beats resort prices!!

“Yummy Thai and Chinese Food”
Reviewed January 2, 2012

You get a lot of food for the price. Almost everything I get at Jo Wok is excellent, except for the Pad Thai...ironic, huh? Try any of their curry dishes or lo mein. Very good! The restaurant is in a shopping plaza but don't let that deter you.

“Friendly to your Taste Buds and you Wallet!”
Reviewed October 16, 2011

We found this delightfully tasty little place thanks to TripAdvisor! My husband and I were up here visiting Cedar Point for a Halloweekend, and needed a place to eat before the park opened at 6pm on Friday evening. We love international and cultural food, so we decided to visit here en route to the park. Nearly all of the meals are $6.75! What a deal, especially in a resort/theme park town! The menu is set up where you choose your protein (tofu, pork, chicken, beef, shrimp, or seafood) and then they have a seemingly endless list of ways to prepare it (sauces, curries, vegetables, etc.), and you choose your spiciness level. This place is obviously very popular with the locals as well -- we arrived pretty early (around 4:15 or 4:30 pm), and the entire time we were there other customers were constantly coming in to order and eat. It's no surprise how popular this place is with the quality of food and the great prices. I highly recommend this great place to anyone during your visit to Sandusky!

“This is the best Thai restaurant in Ohio”
Reviewed March 22, 2011

We have eaten at this little storefront Thai restauran at least once a month for the last 2 years, and loved it every time. (We drive 50 miles from Cleveland just to eat here) Most of their business is carry-out (or drive-through), they have about a dozen tables in the dining area, and 3 tables on the sidewalk out front. The menu has about a hundred items, and they can tailor the heat to your preference. The flavor is wonderful, and the portions are huge. The prices are about half of what other Thai restaurants charge, the portions are larger, and the dishes are loaded with chicken, seafood, or beef. I am especially fond of the Lard Nar, a thick soup with noodles and seafood (lots of it). Fridays they make summer rolls that are excellent. This is the best, least expensive, and least pretentious Thai restaurant we have ever been to. You will not be disappointed!
