Worth the drive off of the main tourist route, only a few minutes south. If you like "northern" Mexican, you should find plenty on the menu to choose from. We were pleasantly greeted and served throughout our stay. All of the staff were friendly and sociable. We each had one of their house special El Molcajete dishes (one all seafood, one seafood and steak). You eat as if you're having fajitas, but the hot ingredients (salsa, vegetables, meat) are cooked and served on/in a volcanic rock bowl. The hot food stays hot, more so than on an iron pan. The flavors went together for a delicious dish. Unfortunately, we did not have room for any of their desserts.
