Very nice campground wonderful hosts, we really enjoyed our stay there, we had a nice spot, but didn't use any of the facilities because we were gone doing things during the days we stayed there, We never had a problem with anything so I give it a AAA rating!!!

Room Tip: No room had our motorhome

Had a few issues at this KOA and never had any at others. 1st off we had a reservation for a spot and when we arrived someone was still in our spot. We had to wait about an hour for the people to pack up and leave. We stayed monthly and they charged you for the electricity which is fine but they never read the meter when we first got there and power was outrageous. Their explanation was well the bigger rvs pull more power. Uh no dont think so we had just came from florida where it was alot hotter and paid less on power. Also they never cut the grass and when they did they hit our rv once never apologized for it. We left not long after that, never felt welcome there at all. We would not stay there again.

We stay at a lot of KOA in Ohio, we came across Salem/Lisbon when we were on koa site. I really enjoyed that our cabin was on the pond. We enjoyed the quietness and the privacy. My son enjoyed catching fish anytime of the day.

We stayed in about 12 KOA's in May of 2013. This one was the only one we had some issues with. We had a large cabin with bath and full kitchen. The coffee pot in the kitchen still had coffee grounds in the basket and were dried up. Not sure how long they had been there. The bed was not real clean so we slept in our sleeping bags. I did not use anything in the kitchen as I felt it was dirty. We had put in a long day, otherwise we would have asked for another cabin. The next day we told the lady at the desk and she was mortified. Obviously, the cleaning people were just slacking off and not doing their job. She expressed her utmost apology and we went on. About an hour later we got a phone call and it was the gal from the KOA. She refunded all our money and again was very apologetic. Overall, I think this is a good KOA and her apology was genuine. We would stay here again and give them another chance.

i have camped at serval places over the last couple years and this campgrounds is beyond what i could imagine! the bathrooms are top notch and very clean (my wife is a housekeeper for a hospital so her standards on cleanliness are very high and she was very pleased with the cleanliness here!!). the hosts made me feel like a celebrity and were very accomidating our entire stay. we will be returning to stay again this year!! their restraunt was very good food and you get generous amount for what they charge!!!! their lighted wagon ride was really cool and my daughter really enjoyed it. all and all i felt like we where staying at a resort not a campgrounds and it was due to the way the hosts where!!!!!!! i Thank them very much for such a wonderful stay and cant wait to go back!!!!!

We arrived late and the manager not only took us to our site but also insisted on helping with the set up. We were there on their anniversary weekend and were treated to live entertainment and dozens of sky lanterns. We also met two great couples. We would definitely go back.

When we arrived the owners introduced themselves, let us know if we need anything to let them know. Once they knew we had dogs with us they moved us closer to the dog run. The dog run is small but we have one large and one small dog, both were worn out when we were done playing. All of the staff we encountered we friendly. The campground itself is nice, mostly seasonal sites, looks like they are still updating some of the areas. Pool was really nice, entire family enjoyed it for several hours, wish it was open past 6pm. Did find it odd that shortly after we set up on our site one of the staff members felt he needed to mow the site, even moved some of our belongings we had set up. We had to go inside and close the windows of the camper until he had finished. He mowed all of the campsites in our area. We stayed two nights mid week so it was quiet. My daughters (6 and 12) enjoyed the playground, pool, and mini golf.

Room Tip: The available sites that did not appear to be seasonal mostly look the same. If you are traveling wi...
