We were in Saint Marys for a wedding. There are not many options in the area and went with this place because we good a good deal. Thankfully we did not gave much free time to just hang around the hotel. The room had a foul odor, the mattress was very thin and uncomfortable (I'm still sore!). The hot tub is not in working order. The breakfast left a little to be desired but was adequate. I probably would not choose again and contemplated changing hotels after the first night.

First of all, received a courtesy call to confirm our arrival a couple of weeks early. Couldn't believe the rate, was waiting for a correction as we checked in but the receipt verified what was quoted over the phone. Visiting for the first time to attend a wedding. Staff was available, courteous and helpful with our inquiries. I appreciated being on the first level although I didn't think to request it; perhaps the front desk noticed my cane. No problem with t.v. or free WiFi. We didn't leave for the wedding until after noon on Saturday so we returned to find our room untouched. We retrieved towels from front desk and all was well. You may want to inquire about the latest you can have your room serviced if that is important to you. Location is very convenient to eateries, discount shopping, pharmacy, etc.

Our car broke down near st marys, had to call AAA and had it towed to the Chrysler dealer, it was gonna take a day to get fixed, so we had to scramble to get a hotel, we got here checked into the hotel, while we were at the front desk the owner checked us in, we chatted with him for a little bit when he heard what had happened offered us a ride the next day to the car dealer, since there isnt any taxi service in town. The next day he came in especially to drive us. We could not thank him enough. Great guy, great staff at the hotel, they turned a terrible car disaster into a pleasant experience. Thanks guys
The hotel was situated next many restaurants and shopping, we walked over to beer barrel for dinner went to jc penny and walk right back. we needed some toiletries, we walked over to K-mart also within walking distance and picked them up.

I recently drove my 85 year old mother and my 80 year old Aunt to a family wedding in Celina. OH and made reservations to stay at the Country Hearth Inn in St. Marys, OH. I requested that we have rooms on the main floor and asked if we could check in early as we had a 3 1/2 hour drive there and Check-in-time was 3:00 and our wedding start time was 3:30 pm. We arrived about an hour before wedding time and were assured one room was ready. But they also told us they were not able to accomodate us on with both rooms on 1st floor. We took this in stride, but then found out there is no elevator to 2nd floor! The room guaranteed ready was on the first floor. Gave us keycards, went to room and couldnt open it! Passersby told us "to join the crowd as there has been a terrible time getting cards keyed correctly today" . Passing guests told us to go back to the main desk to have card re-keyed. We did so and the front desk person accompanied us to the door...used the card and pushed it open only to find it was already occupied! A man's voice greeted us and we only saw the form of legs under blankets in the bed. The front desk person pulled the door shut and declared the room off limits! DUH! Started back at the front desk to find a different room. In the meantime, we were given keycards to the 2nd floor room but they said they had to verify whether the room was ready. I decided to check that room since our time was very limited. Went upstairs, tried the card, door opened, looked like an untouched room. Again, pressed for time, 85 year old mother decided we should put our luggage up there and change as it would be easier to have things in place after returning from the reception. After climbing the stairs to the 2nd floor, (mother very out of breath) successfully entered room. Aunt was moved to an adjacent room downstairs eventually. In mid changing, had a knock at 2nd floor door with front desk person telling us we were "IN THE WRONG ROOM!" Said we were also to be in the room adjacent to the one we were in. So we were placed in the wrong room for both rooms! What are the odds! Had to repack all of our belongings, move my aunts frist floor room and return after the reception to move in to our assigned room.
Needless to say, we were late for our wedding. My mother was forced to climb stairs and made out of breath even though because of heart problems she has a handicapped parking permit! One room had no working coffee maker, ours had antiquated TV with no remote.

What ever happened to good ole customer service? Very disappointed and feel the staff here made no real efforts to see to the welfare of the guests.

YOU ARE ON YOUR OWN HERE AT THIS HOTEL...RENTER BEWARE!

My husband and I came to town to visit with family and friends and we arrived before check-in and was able to get into our room early with no problems at all. The staff was very wonderful and very helpful to us. We stayed here last year and was not really wanting to stay here again but took the chance in hopes that their were improvements and very glad we did! There is all new staff and management which are very polite and friendly. All I can say is the hotel did a complete turn around since our last stay! The only bad thing we had was that the hot tub was down due to waiting on a part but other than that the pool was awesome. I will recommend this hotel to everyone. We have decided to book our stay for the following year before we left.

We booked several rooms for our youth baseball team. The manager was fabulous to work with from start to finish. The staff was beyond accommodating of our needs. This is not a new hotel, but the rooms are very clean and comfortable. A great value!

Alot of changes have been made in the last six months.Under new management.All the old front desk people are now gone and a new manager is in place who really cares about this motel.Cleanest i 've ever seen this motel.Big improvement.
