At Boulders Edge

We just spent 3 days at the Skyview Cabin in "At Boulder's Edge". My husband and I had such an amazing time. We went for a relaxing trip and that's exactly what it was. Frank and Renee are very nice and polite people. I'm not sure why people were saying they were rude, but our encounter with them, they were both very welcoming and nice. We loved our cabin, hot tub and the view. It is just what my husband and I needed. Frank and Renee have made such a wonderful vacation spot and we will definately be back year after year!!!

We had 6 girlfriends down for the weekend for a get-away and had a wonderful time. The process was easy to reserve and Frank and Reene were very quick at getting back to us with questions etc. The place was amazing and had pretty much everything we needed. We'd all come back again very soon!!

This was our first trip to "At Boulders Edge". And, it will not be our last. We stayed in the Skyview Cabin. 1 bedroom/1 bath with a futon in the living room. The cabin was very cozy, clean and had all the things we needed. It was the first weekend in Feb, so we had snow all weekend. But, it was incredible. Sky full of stars (and use of the telescope). Brand new hot tube on front porch was incredible. We went hiking to Rockbridge and Rock Shelter, lots of fun. We hardly watched TV. This, again, is a great location and great cabin. We look forward to spending more weekends here at "At Boulders Edge".

We stay in cabins at hocking hills at least twice per year and this cabin ranks right up there with the best. We stayed in the tall pines cabin and couldn't have been more pleased. The water bed is a hilarious novelty, but luckily there was a queen size bed in the next room to sleep in. The owners really went out of their way to make it feel like a home, from the christmas decorations and mini christmas tree, to the hand written greeting on the mini chalkboard when we entered. The cabin is tucked back far enough into some trees that you feel secluded from the other cabins on the property, the only exposed area is the front of the porch by the hot tub. I would recommend bringing a large blanket to hang up(we did) so you get complete privacy while in the hot tub. The hot tub was very spacious and extremely clean. There were plenty of pans and kitchen utensils to allow for a wide array of cooking options. We made all of our meals there and never had trouble finding the tools to do so. The new flat screen and blu ray player really separated this cabin from others that have very small tv's. The only complaint I can think of is that there was no internet to watch our netflix shows, but if thats my only complaint then I would say the experience was near perfect.

wanted to do something different for Christmas this year so I packed up the family and headed to Boulders Edge...what a great place to spend Christmas..when we checked in they had set up a Christmas tree and decorated it for us that was really nice...spent three days and had nothing but fun...had a two bedroom cabin ..it was beautiful and fully stocked with everything but food...full stocked kitchen.. great flatscreen TV ...4 person hot tub...for being only 1 mile off of a state route and only an hour and half from our home it was like stepping out into the middle of nowhere..it was great to escape our everyday lives and relax and hibernate for a few days...I pass within a mile of this place on a weekly basis and never knew it was here...so if you want to get away from reality for a few days this is your spot...we loved it and are planning on returning again this summer for our anniversary and probably agin next Christmas....

Room Tip: the tall pines cabin was great for the family..

Did a lot of checking out of cabins in the area, and feel this was the absolute best choice, as the weekend stay was perfect. Owners are available onsite, but not intrusive at all (we only saw or talked to them when we initiated it). Cabin was very clean (and well appointed), as was the hot tub overlooking the wooded drop-off behind the cabin. Nice hiking trail to Rockbridge very close by. Owners are very proud of their resort, as they should be, and welcomed you to tour the other amenities (ask first), such as the teepees (very cool) and largest cabin that would accommodate a very large party. Nice gift shop where you can get some unique things, and great Jello-shots (LOL). Will definitely return for more private time, plus family events now that we know more about it.

Room Tip: DotCalm cabin is the most remote, including a very private rear deck where the hot-tub is located.
