My husband and I boat and fish and it is very relaxing to us to be in a cove and enjoy the tranquility. Very busy on the weekends but always a cove to get away from it all.

Thank Karen W

There is a spot to back your car up with a boat. Nice lake. Pretty area. Park is generally almost deserted. It's kind of weird shaped, so check out a map. Also, some roads up to it are in terrible shape, so be careful what path you take getting here.

The hiking trails at West Branch are plentiful. My husband and I hiked one of the mountain bike trails that ran along the south shore of the lake.

West Branch has a nice beach where we used to take our autistic granddaughter to wade. It is nice when it is not too crowded. The hikeing trails could use a bit better blazing though, they are hard to follow at times.

I haven't been through the whole park. We went swimming there years ago (like 25 years ago) the water was yukky. The hiking trails are nice.
