Our family enjoyed the history behind the monument and the view was amazing! Plan to wait in line for the elevator. There was no charge for children to visit the monument.

“Nice renovations and view as good as any skyscraper”
Reviewed July 20, 2013

Took a few years for the renovations for us to get back to the top, but what a view! Terrific views 360 degrees unobstructed. Park rangers were very helpful with the historical details and you can spend as much time up there as you like. Weekday lines to get in it are light, weekends not so much. Be sure to go to the Memorial center and check out the movie on the history of Perry's sea battle, which is very well done. Kids are free, adults are a few dollars to get to the top.

“Worth the stairs”
Reviewed July 19, 2013

The park rangers are friendly and know what they are talking about! The views are great. They even work with you upon entry to try to figure the cheapest way for your group to enter.

“Great value!”
Reviewed July 16, 2013

My 14 year old and I went to the observation deck for only $3.00! My son was free since he is 14. Great visibility at the top to look all around Lake Erie
