“Love this zoo!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 28, 2012

We've been here several times and each time there is something new or different. The kids really enjoy it. There are lots of places to rest and sprinklers in the summer that mist you. There is lots to do. It's a nice way to spend the day. You can get through the whole zoo without having to rush in an afternoon. The food prices are extremely high but there are places to picnic so you can bring your own food to those areas to save money.

“Best zoo title is deserved.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 27, 2012

This zoo has grown into one of the premier zoological parks in the world. It is has it all and has developed in a logical and visitor. friendly manner. The animals are displayed in natural settings. There are many special exhibitions and at times there are special shows like the "winter lights". There are also concerts at times. There is a separate water park, Zoombezi Bay. There are plenty of indoor exhibits so that it is an enjoyable trip even on a rainy day.

“lots of activities”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 25, 2012

One day may not be enough to see all the flora and fauna here. There's a waterpark next door and an unparalleled assortment of animals. It doesn't matter what time of year you come here. Don't miss the Christmas light show.

“Great for the family”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 24, 2012

We have been to zoos all over the country and the Columbus Zoo is definately one of the nicest. It's nice to view the animals in larger spaces and not in cages. We take the family often, a few times a year. Clean, inviting, well taken care of. Not dirty or smelly like some other zoos. Very visitor friendly indoor and outdoor exhibits. Great parking and reasonablely priced chairs and stollers for the grandparents and grand children to use, they come in handy. The food is pretty good too, the kids enjoy having lunch there.
