Half price specials on pizza Sunday, Monday and Tuesday. Great food and prices. A very good lunch menu too.

This place has a lot of charm - located in an old brewery with lots of history. All of their beer selections are really good - and they have some creative selections. If you enjoy sampling local brews this place will NOT disapoint. Worth the trip for sure. And the food is pretty good too.

Ok I know that title may sound odd but that's what we encountered at this brewpub.
We were looking for an off-park place to eat while visiting Shawnee State Park and we had spied looking forward to a good pint of beer or two. The brewpub is not exactly in the best park of Portsmouth but it you're willing to look past all that you will be rewarded with a good pint of beer. We hadn't realized that the brewpub was in an old brewery which lended well to the atmosphere. While the beer we ended up getting was good, not great, we were disappointed that two of the taps were down so the selection was not where it should be. Be that as it may the food was good, not great and unfortunately the a/c was down and/or this place doesn't have a/c so that made for a less than fully comfortable evening. Having said that it was cool to have a beer in an old brewery and they had tons of memorabilia. The dining room itself was a little crammed given the size of the building. They did accommodate children by tweaking the menu slightly which was appreciated. They didn't have milk though so bring you own (only cola products and lemonade). I'm sure that if we ever found ourselves at Shawnee State Park or Portsmouth that we'd stop by for a beer but I'd doubt that we'd go out of our way to visit again.
