OH my ! We had so much fun. All the animals are so friendly and tame! We bought 3 big bags of carrots at Walmart and we could use 10! Got little scared when one of the deer started to fight over a cup of pellets and got in the car, stole the cup and down it! Funny!
Zebras were fighting together biting each other, then almost me, lol. Very clean and fun. We will be back!

We visited the African Safari website and was pleased to find they offered a car-load discount coupon which was good for up to 8 people. This saved us over $45 alone! The animals were just fabulous. It is obvious they are well-cared for. There was no horrible odors or smells, and the animals were in very good health. The staff was courteous, informative, and even politely corrected us when we were calling an animal by its wrong name. The huge cups of food pellets sold for $2. The carrots were pricey at $4 for a small bag or $6 for the larger, but for the money we saved with the carload coupon, we didn't mind spending it. There were five in our group, so we bought $10 worth of cups and 2 bags of large carrots which was plenty for a ride through the entire complex. You are also allowed to come back through as many times as you want, even if you leave the complex and come back hours later. Just make sure you have your receipt. The giraffes were fantastic and more than happy to stick their heads in your car or truck for a carrot. The zebras, buffalo, wart hogs, water buffalo, reindeer, gazelles and other animals all approached our car and we had the pleasure of giving them food and observing them upclose. And if you missed an animal, you just had to come back in again. Afterwards, we went through the gift shop, got a bite to eat there, and visited the other animal exhibits they had. Everything was clean, the cages were well kept, and staff was onhand to wash out cages if needed. The animal show was fun and more animals were brought out for upclose viewing. There were even pig races with the pigs running around a closed-in track racing for the otherside. The only bad thing we found was the smell coming from the bathrooms. But since flooding had been a major problem for this part of Ohio, we felt this might have had something to do with it. Other than that, it was a great experience for us and the kids and we'll be back again for sure. They even had a vaccuum you could pay to use to clean up pellets out of your car afterwards. Good fun and you can't beat the price! We stayed at the Sleep-Inn Hotel which was right around the corner and very convenient being so close to the park and Cedar Point. It's all good! Enjoy!

We went today as a back to school treat for my Grandchildren.
Price: If you have a zoo pas, admission is half price. There are $3 off adult /$2 off children <6 everywhere, especially their website. I also noticed Ebay sell passes.

We bought 3- 5# bags of carrots at the grocery store. $12 for 15 pounds, but it was perfect! They are $4 / lb at the park.

We tried to arrive close to 9AM when they opened. Good move, hardly anyone was there. We owned the drive thru park for awhile & it was the real deal. Tons of animals with thier heads in the car. I took some awesome video clips with my camera when the animals were inside the car. The giraffes stick their heads in also and it was amazing!

The other park area is cute & a nice break, Since we got there early, all the kids did 2 pony rides, 2 camel rides and watched the shows. Then it was back thru the car path. Second time we had totally different experiences. The 15#'s of carrotts were perfect & we had a blast. Did everything 2 times & were on the road by 1 PM.

We had a great time here. I bought a pass on Ebay for only $10 for the whole car and took my husband and 4 kids. The animals were not shy about coming up to the car. We took some carrots from home and also bought some feed along the way. We drove through twice and the highlight was the giraffe sticking his head through our window. We also walked through the rest of the park and my son got to ride a pony and camel for free. We spent about 2 hours here but missed the pig races as we were running short on time, had to make a flight at the Columbus airport. Overall it was a great experience, however, I do think their prices are kind of inflated. $16.95 per person seems a bit much for what they have to offer. Just my opinion, but still had a great time.

All ages will enjoy this. It only takes about 10-15 min. to drive thru. The animals run to the care to get feed so bring carrots or you can buy a bag of nibbles at the park. The buffalo and other animals will put their heads into your car if you want them to (I didn't). It is a fun experience.
