My husband and I went to Stella's on the recommendation of our hotel where we stayed on our way to Chicago. It was awesome! Our server, Tori, was very friendly and helpful. She explained the items on the menu and made it all so appealing-sounding that it was hard to choose. We decided on the chef's combination appetizers, which were some amazing Brussels sprouts (made with bacon, honey, sesame seeds, scallions, and sriracha), melted brie on toasted bread, and crispy pork belly with a cauliflower and mustard cream sauce. All three were exceptional. My husband had the lobster bisque, which I would say was the best I've ever had, with the perfect touch of sherry. And we also shared the quinoa and spinach salad with pistachios (lots of them) and a light lemony vinaigrette. All of the portions was sizeable--enough for dinner for both of us. The desserts looked very tempting too, but neither of us had any room for more food. There was also live music, which was very nice. We sat upstairs, where we could hear the music and it wasn't too loud. We're hoping to come back on our trip back home.
