The restaurant is small, so it fills up quickly. It is only open for dinner. If you like Italian food, it is a great place to eat. The menu has a large variety of pastas, fish and meat dishes along with some great desserts.

We picked up a catered dinner including a tray of penne pasta, tray of ravioli and tray of salad and had so much food that it fed 17 teenage athletes and 3 adults for two days (thanks to our hotel allowing to store it in their fridge!). The staff was very friendly and accomodating. Everything was ready when we arrived and they helped load it in our van. The trays were assembled on stands with Sterno burners (although we didn't need them). I highly recommend the ravioli. It was fantastic.

Although they don't normally take reservations, they were required for Miami University's Spring 2013 Graduation weekend. So glad we made ours! There was a line at the door upon opening at 5 pm, and everyone in line ahead of us were turned away because they didn't have reservations. Thank goodness - the restaurant is the smallest I've ever seen. Our room was the main dining room and only accommodated about 5-6 tables. Our party of 5 was seated promptly and given efficient service. The bread and salads were fresh and yummy. I ordered the Funghi Alla Pesto made with basil Pesto and sun-dried tomatoes sautéed with wild mushrooms, onions and white wine and cheese over farfalle. It was fantastic! Our son loved his Fettuccini Alfredo, and our daughter created her own pasta selection.

We had worked up a substantial appetite while sitting in the cold at the outdoor Commencement Exercises at Yager Stadium before dinner and afterwards were returning to the College of Arts & Science ceremony at Millett Hall. It was a lovely respit during an exciting, emotional day in Oxford!

The restaurant was located in a renovated house and offered limited parking. Although small, and I mean very small..an average day might make this a great place to visit. But, on a busy college visit weekend, the experience was less than stellar.

We did not make reservations, which I highly recommend and waited about 35 minutes for a table for our group. Our table was located in the bar area. The bar had four stools and that was the maximum amount of customers who were at the bar. Our table butted up to the bar area so one of our underage table guests was forced to sit almost back to back with a bar guest.

The room also seated a large group of very, very loud women. It was so loud that we could not carry on a conversation at our table. We only hoped that these women would be served some food so they would quiet down.

Our waiter was excellent and was quick to take orders and provide refreshments, bread and any other of our needs. Our food was brought out in a timely manner, but again the cramped, loud atmosphere was very annoying.

The food portions were generous and served in hearty fashion. Everyone seemed satisfied with their choices. I enjoyed eggplant parmesean and enjoyed the flavor of the sauce over the thinly sliced eggplant. I would have enjoyed fresh eggplant sliced thicker than what looked like a processed rectangular piece of eggplant. My daughter enjoyed a spinach filled ravioli in a creamy red sauce.

After the nearby table filled with loud guests left, the atmosphere became quite enjoyable and I was disappointed that our meal wa at a close. Another visit should be in order, but maybe not on such a busy weekend.

We were a bit disappointed after reading reviews. Atmosphere, service, value and dessert good. Risotta and ravioli not great. May try again.
