Food is great. There is never a wait. Food comes out quickly. Amount of food is moderate. I do like that they watch for your needs, for example: I had sweet and sour chicken. I ran out of sauce, the manager noticed and brought me more without even asking. The staff is very friendly. A+

In Oxford, there are three Asian restaurants in a two block radius (not including the two sushi joints), and of those three, I would confidently rank Wild Bistro #2. The menu is unique, but small in comparison to that of their peers. If you are an adventurous eater, I would recommend trying some of their more exotic dishes like the Korean Stone Bowl, because, for the price, their standard Chinese recipes don't stand out as special in any way. Of the three, Wild Bistro is the least affordable. For the price of two WB entrees, I am able to purchase a cup of soup, two egg rolls, and two entrees at their neighbor to the west.
If you're looking to dine at Wild Bistro, and want to save a few bucks, consider their lunch menu. Their "Lunch Boxes" are a steal. Smaller portions of traditional Chinese standards are served with steamed rice, an egg roll or crab rangoon, and a house salad for under $7.00. Drinks and soup will cost extra.
The dining room is comfortable, clean, and rarely crowded, and the Asian inspired deco turns dining into a little vacation. Delivery is timely.
Remember that when choosing a Chinese restaurant in Oxford that you have options. And, while Wild Bistro reigns in atmosphere, there are other factors to consider.

They have a great lunch menu. I have always enjoyed several items from there. However, beware, the Pho is no good at all. They used some sort of fettuccine looking noodle instead of a rice noodle. I'd go back, just wouldn't order the Pho.

This is an interesting restaurant that hits a sweet spot in Oxford. They offer Asian dishes in an ecumenical sense - you will find the usual Chinese stand-by items (e.g., Moo Shu) but also a nice selection of Thai offerings and a few Japanese dishes. Everything we have tried has been good.

As far as atmosphere, it's nothing special, and the service is fine but not over the top. At their price point, they offer a nice dining experience that should work for most groups (unless there are some extremely picky eaters who reject anything non-American). The usual challenge of uptown Oxford parking applies.

Hubby and I love Wild Bistro, an Asian restaurant on High Street, Oxford's main drag, ... both as eat-in or carry-out customers. They are extremely flexible and have never balked at any request to make substitutions. For example, Hubby loves the "Chicken with Cashew Nuts" entree ($9) but substitutes tofu for the chicken - delicious! After trying various dishes on their menu, I now always order the "Tofu Vegetable Noodle Soup" ($9), a Pho-like soup that Wild Bistro's owner offered to create just for me (and is now part of their special order menu) in order to accommodate my vegan diet... tons of vegetables, sautéed tofu and thick udon noodles nestled in a light veggie broth (which they call "water broth"). For less than $20, we get great service and our tummies are very satisfied!
