Located some distance from downtown Oregon, Bay Shore is worth the drive if you want a good fish dinner. The fish portions are ample, and well prepared. We found the wait staff friendly and attentive. The building is a little dated, but the location allows a lake view, at least from some of the tables. We would visit again if we returned to Oregon.

We had perch and coconut shrimp. The food tasted good and the portions were just about right. They were very busy the night we went and we didn't have reservations but they got us right in. The service was excellent. Highly recommend to others.

Very casual restaurant along Lake Erie. Varied menu choices. Something for everyone. The perch is the best in town. The service is excellent.

Sonny Berry's Bay Shore Supper Club is an institution in the Toledo area. I ate dinner there on New Year's Eve, but have Been going there since I moved to Toledo over 20 years ago. It has a bar and two large dining rooms on property bordered on the north by Lake Erie's Maumee Bay. The servers are the friendliest you'll ever meet. The specialty is fresh fried Lake Erie pickerel (also called walleye) and perch. You can get a perch sandwich (lunch) or 4 perch fillets (dinner), a pickerel fillet or, even, a whole fried pickerel (head, tail, fins, bones and all) has recently returned to the menu. (The whole pickerel will be de-boned on request). Dinners are served with many choices: salad, coleslaw, cottage cheese, applesauce, home fries, hash browns, or baked potato. (The bleu cheese dressing is home made. The salad is iceberg but plentiful and includes a deviled egg. Dinners are served with a roll and a relish plate with green onions, a slice of green pepper, radishes, banana pepper rings, pickles, etc.) I prefer the perch over the walleye and nobody serves better fried perch than Sonny Berry, with lots of tartar sauce served on the side. Sonny Berry's Bay Shore Supper Club is one of a kind, the way restaurants were before the advent of chains. Food is very good, plentiful and very reasonably priced. You won't be disappointed and, if you're like me, you'll keep going back!

The food and staff were TERRIFIC!! the view of the Bay is very limited and the building itself could be updated, but we went 3 times over a weekend visit to eat perch there. I had never had better.
