My family and I stayed here for one night. We had a suite which was remarkably large, with great amenities such as the two flat panel TVs. The hotel has a large pool and a terrific breakfast buffet. While in the hotel, my wife read an article that indicated that this was the number 2 rated Marriott property in customer service. EVERYWHERE we went in that hotel the people could not do enough for you. They certainly deserve the scores that they have been given.
While there, we met a family that had stayed at the property when it was a Sheraton Four Point and they described the place as "a dump". Now, after a $9 million renovation and a new affiliation, this place is hitting on all cyclinders. They just reopened in October, 2007 after the renovation. The employees here are genuinely warm and ready to assist people, especially the people at the front desk or in the restaurant.
A great place to stay for a family or a person on business. The beds are great and the place is just immaculate. If our travels take us back to the Hall of Fame, I know where I am staying.

4 of us, colleagues from France, Poland, China & India (myself) stayed here for 10 days. Surprisingly large rooms, good King size bed, but the room itself smelt & felt musty & "not fresh", if I may say so. The Aircon wud make a nice little sound, breakfast was the same everyday, service was not as friendly as at the Marriot. The only thing good was the proximity to the Belden Village shopping district. The girls in our little group had a blast...they only needed to walk across a patch of grass to cross over into the shopping paradise. Location is good, just off the main expressway coming into town from the airport.
Sheraton needs to put some soul into the hotel... nothing exotic, but simple stuff to make it feel more liveable.

This hotel is in a great location, close to the Football Hall of Fame; however, their rooms certainly need updating. Our room was large, the bed very comfortable, but the upholstered furniture really was worn and quite dirty. Since this is part of the Sheraton chain, I wonder if they aren't spending any money on updating their rooms. It was also quite difficult for us to find the hotel itself from the directions on their website. It was not where other hotels in the area were located, we had to stop at a Courtyard and ask where it was.

For a Four Points level hotel (competitors of type like Fairfield Inn, Hampton, etc.), this is unreal. Excellent for class. First the just ok part -- the rooms are dated. Carpet is worn, desk furniture is stained. Not to level of gross out, but noticeable. However, what sets this place apart is its personal touch and quality. Inhouse restaurant looks basic, but wait until you actually taste the food. Steak and shrimp for 17, including soup and salad bar, and potato and vegetables of your choice. Ok, so what? Well, quality and taste is at level of big city full price restaurant. I know, being from Chicago, what good steak is. This is good steak, as unbelievable as that is. My daughter had chicken breast sandwich, and it was the juiciest, thickest we've ever experienced. Then, the lounge/bar. Live band. Looks funny -- bunch of folks in their forties and fifties in red tshirts. But, the sound quality is great. They are great. They even take requests. Crowd is complete mix of old fogies, weekend golfer, and people (like us) in for football hall of fame. Regardless, once here, this place warms the heart. Isn't that what a hotel is supposed to be about? (This doesn't even count the above average indoor/outdoor heated pool, workout area, boxing bag, and sauna (plus jacuzzi).) Give this place a chance, and you will come away refreshed. (Hint: take the Hall of Fame package -- breakfast for 2, tickets to the Hall of Fame, and a great souvenir gift for your kid (or you).)

We stayed here last spring in 2004 and had a great time. The beds were fantastic the service was great and indoor pool and sauna were terrific. We had decided to take there romance package a had a great dinner in their lounge area since there was a card game going on in the main dining room area. The food was also good the following morning.
Great place to stay if wanting to check out the football hall of fame.
