“Southwestern at it's best”
Reviewed September 22, 2012

This locally owned and family run restaurant may be our favorite. Maybe it's because we have so many great memories from eating with family and friends over the years. Or maybe it's the food! They make their own tortilla chips and salsa, add homemade guacamole/ queso and you could stop there. But of course, we don't! We like the enchiladas with the jalapeño cream sauce that's our favorite. Other good choices are fajita quesadillas, chili, cornbread, chicken skewers, fish tacos, salmon salad, flatbread pizzas, seafood taco salad to name a few. The margaritas alone are enough to make the trip. Margarita Monday is a local tradition.

“It's Southwestern!”
Reviewed September 15, 2012

Pancho's has a nice, varied menu. It's a unique combination of the American Southwest and local fare. Even their burgers are fantastic!

“Unique Southwestern Flavors”
Reviewed September 14, 2012

I will confess that this has long been our favorite restaurant. We are fiends for Mexican food, but there is a definite sameness to it. Not so at Pancho's.
For starters, the fresh-make just about everything, so the flavors are a bit different ... but aways wonderful ... with every visit.
They make their own tortilla chips, which are unlike any I've seen elsewhere. They also freshly make their pico de gallo, gauranteed to leave you with stinky breath, but so delicious. Their salsa is very good, but sometimes on the sweet side.
Something you will find nowhere else is the habanero salsa. The consistency varies from loose baby food to slightly thicker than water. It has a remarkable sweetness followed by a distinct "wang!" The potency changes from day to day, but is never eye-wateringly hot. It's a unique taste.
They have about eight different sauces to select from, including a habanero cream that's our favorite.
There's a nice selection of entres. Don't look for the Speedy Gonzalez or Mexican Lunch #3. Their stuff is much more original than that.
The restaurant is very broken up into many small and uniquely shaped rooms. It doesn't feel like a big place but it is. There's also a bar and patio. Their tangerine margaritas are just about the best thing I've poured down my pie hole. The margaritas can be pricy, but Margarita Monday offers drink specials.

“Passable ...that's about it”
Reviewed July 31, 2012

This is the second time here and should have remembered NOT to get the Mexican,.Very commercial grade taste. You can have a CHEAP mexican lunch but that is about it. The people at our table that ordered the sandwiches had much better luck. Burger and chuck steak sandwiches looked pretty good and was told they were tasty.
