We have been going to this Red Lobster for 14 years. And for many of the earlier years, we encountered mixed results. Sometimes the food was good, sometimes not. Sometimes service was great, sometimes not. We really didn't know what to expect.
However, in the past two years, we have noticed a positive change. We have eaten there at least ten times during that period and we have never been displeased with the food or service. Meals have always been consistently good and a great value for the money spent. The service is well above average with waiters/waitresses actually having smiles on their faces, a great knowledge of the menu if we have questions, and are very attentive to our needs.
Last night was a great example. We both ordered the baked stuffed flounder with a salad. Before the salad arrived, the warm biscuits were on the table ready to be eaten if we wished. It seems as if the biscuits have improved in taste over the years too.
The pace was spot on. Just as soon as we finished the salad, the flounder arrived ready to eat. Two pieces. We requested tartar sauce and our waitress, Bri, gladly supplied it quickly. She also kept my glass (Diet Coke) filled. Great combination of tastes and we enjoyed another great meal at this Red Lobster.
Our opinion of this Red Lobster has changed for the better. We are now at the point where we know we will get our money’s worth whenever we visit. There is much more consistency in the product and a much better quality of service.
Hint: We did arrive about 5:30 Friday evening and there was no wait for a table. By 6 pm, there was a wait. Arrive early on weekends if you don’t want to wait.
