What a wonderful find! We love our trips to Hocking Hills but it is hardly a foodie scene. The food was absolutely lovely and the staff incredibly well trained. The staff knew and understood the ingredients and preparation, understood dietary restrictions, really everything about the experience was terrific. We will absolutely be back every time we are in the area!! BTW--fantastic wine list also!

This "school" is so wonderful we return each year! They even gave me the recipe for a salad dressing that I have continued to make at home. Very entertaining and food was over the top!

This restaurant is where the Hocking College Culinary students get their hands-on education. That being said, it is pretty good. The food is good, the atmosphere is good (live music is a nice touch). But that is it, it is just good, nothing outstanding. You can tell the students are trying hard, almost too hard. I have been there 3-4 times and the wait for your food is always longer than it should be. Everything is ala carte so it can get expensive really fast. If this was a "for profit" restaurant and not a training grounds, I would give them a score of 3. If you're in the area and want a nice meal that you will pay @ $30.00/plate for and have time on your hands, or you believe in helping students out, you might check it out. Otherwise I would opt for some of the fine dining establishments in the Athens area or the Hocking Hills.

The restaurant is a training site for students attending Hocking College Culinary Program.Limited dining hours on weekends
only. We enjoyed the attentive service and creative entrees.Live music added to the nice atmosphere.

I really liked the menu and the atmosphere but there was something definitely missing, the full experience of a "fine dine" restaurant wasn't being accomplished. The food was on the brink of being good, it was almost there. The service was on the brink of being good, almost there. It has the potential. But again, almost there. I had great hopes for the Brie and date stuffed chicken breast... Everything that you see is impressive but as the dinner experience unfolds, it becomes obvious that something needs to be done to make Rhapsody a memorable place to eat. The price is extremely reasonable.
