What a find! Hidden behind the McDonalds at Weller and Montgomery in a strip shopping center (do not let that turn you off!). A very experienced Chef, who has worked on many cruise ships, has given us the gift of settling down in Cincinnati! The food (especially his specials) is wonderful. Freshly prepared. Even his Club sandwich is craveable - on delicious honey wheat bread, delicious REAL Turkey with some fresh avocado, perfect applewood bacon, etc... His crab chowder (a menu staple) completely delicious. Humus appetizer is freshly made with delicious fresh, warm pita (some of the best you'll ever have). Its a small, intimate spot (Kate's Kafe used to be there). Only open for breakfast, lunch and carry out. The specials are always delicious and can go fast! The woman who works the tables is very nice and attentive. OH - and the fresh brewed iced tea is tasty! This is the kind of place you are happy to find in your town. Please go!

Right behind McDonald's in the strip shopping center at Mccumber Road and 275. Great menu at the right price quality food at a local restaurant. True mom-and-pop quality place!

always looking for a locally owned place for lunch,we found this thru a local paper new rest. notice glad we did..food was great ..two had the daily special of chicken basque(chicken breast topped with a tomato and sausage sauce, little spicey but not hot)and served with sliced baked potatoes which were excellent, another had the salmon burger and the verdict was she'd have it again, the weake dish was the fish and chips, fish was good but the breading became greasy, fries are house made and were great. no wine or beer but even tho' we didn't have dessert, the offerings are made in house..wanted to tqke home the roasted pineapple up side down cake with a pablano and cherry sauce..chef says his desserts couldn't be carried out (no ppropriate container for the presentationof the sauce)..so we did leave without it we hope the next time we visit, they will have solved our problem !!! the crab bisque was also delish.
give bartolo's a try..plan on an hour or so..it's small and there's just the chef(handsome guy!)
and a server and he makes it as it's ordered..hidden back off montgomery rd in the area called duffy's square. worth it
