This little place has grown and grown in the past 20 years. What started out as literally a roadside stand that I remember is now a bakery, furniture, toy store. There is also a large petting "zoo" with farm animals and they frequently have baby animals. When going for bake goods you best get there really early. People buy items by the armfuls, literally. They have the biggest donuts I've ever seen. If you are into fry pies buy the day olds at a reduced price.

We went to Hershberger Farm with our kids and grandkids. They loved the puppies and all the farm animals there. They also had pony rides which the kids loved. We got some of the popcorn that they make on a fire right there. It was exceptional. The bakery had "fry pies", which my husband loves and craves when we leave the area. We get some bird seed and suet in the store, which is much more reasonably priced than where we're from. It's a great place to visit and the bakery and fresh vegetables/fruit, will make you want to come back again.

We have been several times, we go for the fry pies, peach, apple, cherry, grape, blueberry etc... its like a dunkin stick with goo inside. The crust is delicious! They are $1.50, try them and you will love them. They have homemade bird feeders and planters and other hand made items, very cheap compared to the store. The petting zoo is free and fun, a goat gave birth to two babies an hour before we got there. So sweet, stinky, but sweet! If the front parking area is full, you will find more behind the store. Go support the amish community, eat a pie and pet a goat....what could be more cheap fun?

Took our Daughter and Granddaughter here. Was so peaceful .We fed the animals, rode in an Amish Carriage [They take you on a tour of the farm and tell you about the different animals}, got leather goods, Ate and got some sweet popcorn .oh , and our granddaughter rode a pony. They have a horse that weighs over 3000 pounds. HUGE, You will see goats on the roof of the Shelter area. Just a fun time.

We stopped here on a trip through Amish country because of all the cars parked there. We knew it must be good to attract a big crowd. Outside in a covered barn are animals (goats, sheep, chickens, and a huge horse) to look at and pet. Indoors there is a wide variety of Amish canned goods, baked goods, meat, and produce. Everything looked wonderful. We bought a few things to take home. There was a kettle corn stand outside and for $1, we bought a small bag to share. Yum! Would make a point of stopping there again if we are in the area.
