My husband and I met his sister and her husband for our yearly weekend getaway at this lovely and charming bed and breakfast. This beautifully restored barn is decorated with quilts and country decor, our room was very quiet and comfortable, breakfast was delicious, and we thoroughly enjoyed learning about the Amish culture from Loretta the innkeeper, whose family had been Amish. She also gave us ideas and directions to off the beaten path sites that included an Amish family selling baskets and soaps out of their home. It was fascinating. Cannot wait to go back.

My friend and I stayed two nights at The Barn. The room was very nice. The bed comfortable and the breakfast outstanding~ I especially enjoyed learning about the history of the Amish and feel like I have a much better understanding of the unique people of Holmes County. They are like many of us with our own traditions and ways - all of which can be celebrated~

Room Tip: We saw the rooms with the bed, hide-a-bed, fire place...etc. Although our room was nice, the larger one was luxurious~

My husband and I desperately needed a getaway afer a long unhealthy summer. A friend suggested "The Barn" in Millersburg. I was a little skeptical because her taste's and mine are quite different in this area. Boy was I wrong! What a lovely place! Our room was just perfect and Loretta could not have been nicer. The entire atmosphire was just wonderful. The beautiful breakfast's were outstanding. She explained all the options for sightseeing and helped with directions. We would recommend "The Barn" to anyone, it is truly a quiet gem.

We spent 2 nights at the Barn Inn while we were on our yearly mystery trip with my brother and sister-in-law. It was a wonderful experience and can't wait to go back again. We loved the great breakfast. Very quiet and you are made to feel right at home, Paul and Loretta are perfect hosts. We love the Amish area.

Room Tip: Main floor rooms easy to get to and very quiet.

We spent a couple days roaming the Ohio Amish countryside during a recent trip to visit the wife's Ohio roots and decided to try this unique property. All the glowing comments we read from past reviewers led us to question how this property could possibly stack up to the press. No More! We experienced the same great service, wonderful environs (inside and out) and warm and inviting accomodations that others have so articulately stated previously.

We were particularly impressed with the made to order breakfast which Loretta personally made as well as her interesting post meal talk on the local area complete with recommendations on places to visit and enjoy including unique shopping opportunities. The property includes large grounds with a creek running through it. Also most enjoyable was a long walk along the country lane just outside the property where we passed beautiful farms along rolling hills and friendly folks.

Overall we really enjoyed this B&B and will stay again on our next trip to the area.
