We searched several B&B's online and after reading the reviews about the Barn, we decided it must be a decent place.

We were amazed at the details in the rooms and the hospitality shown by Paul & Loretta (owners). They shared wonderful stories and insight about the local Amish.

The photos on their website do not do the rooms justice. The rooms were beautiful!

This was our 3rd time at this Inn. We fill in love with it last year
in Dec. when we did some Christmas shopping in Burlin. So for our Annv. in Aug. we decided to stay at The Barn Inn to see what it was like in the summer. We loved it. It is so relaxing and every one was so nice. The rooms are so beautiful and relaxing. I loved the fire place. We loved going to the dinning room for breakfast and meeting all the other guest. Plus the food was great. So this this year we taken my sister and bother in-law and they also loved it. So now we want to bring more family and friends with us next time.

What a lovely place to stay, and what wonderful hosts! We chose The Barn Inn for a four day stay in Amish country to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary. We couldn't have asked for more gracious hosts or nicer accommodations.

Each breakfast was planned to be special, and individualized to the guests' preference.

The Inn itself is very comfortable and the decor is lovely. It was decorated for the Christmas holidays, and it was beautiful.

The proprietor was very well informed on the area attractions and shared recommendations on places to visit which were not necessarily advertized in the brochures.

We hope we can return to The Barn Inn again, and recommnd it highly for anyone wanting a special "get-away."

The room was great and we could not have asked for any more service. Would we stay there again? you bet we would the service was something you never get at a motel. We are in fact thinking about booking another stay there the next time we go to Holms County We were treated like family not like we were tourists. Very helpful on what to see and how to get there. Willing to answer any and all questions we had. Also willing to relate local history which made the vist like being home and talking with family.

We stayed at the cottage unit. We experienced the serenity of beautiful rolling hills and the quiteness of the country. It was a great get-a-way weekend for both of us. The unit was very clean, nicely decorated with a funished kitchen including all the breakfast items you would ever want. The cinnamon rolls were expecially delicious. I would not hesitate to go back.

  • Liked — The cleanliness

The Barn Inn, in Holmes County, Ohio, is near Millersburg, the heart of Amish country. We stayed in the room they call the Millersburg Country Cottage, which is not part of the inn at all, but a wing of a house about a mile away from the Inn. It is very private and spacious, with a living and dining area, kitchen, bedroom and bath. We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend there. There were breakfast foods so we could set our own schedule and 2 TVs with satellite reception including a flat screen plasma TV. We actually rarely watch television but found ourselves watching old movies on the Turner Classic TV network. We walked around Millersburg and drove through the countryside. The owner, Mr. Coblentz drove us to the cottage when we arrived and was very helpful telling us about places to visit or eat while we were there. The Pine Tree Barn near Shreve is a delicious spot for lunch.
