“Good Stuff, Great Prices”
Reviewed December 31, 2012

For a chain restaurant, Don Pablos is my favorite for Mexican food. Prices, selection and service can't be beat. The test of a good Mexican in my book is how good the Chili Rellonos are....theirs are excellent and don't correctly. This restaurant is the only reason we chose to stop for the night in Maumee,Ohio !!

“Good Food and Decent Service”
Reviewed October 17, 2012

We liked that the fajitas were served sizzling hot, unlike some other Mexican restaurants we've visited. It was interesting watching them make tortillas.

“Great food... Service needs work”
Reviewed August 26, 2012

If I'm in the mood for mexician, Don Pablo's is the restaurant that comes to mind. It's great food at reasonable prices. Great bar too (Coronarita is my favorite).

The service is what needs work. Sure the food is great, but I've never really been impressed with the quality of service. Big issues include timing (long waits between sitting and beverage order, beverage order and receiving drinks, etc), refills, and follow-up (that "How is everything tasting?" really goes a long way).

If you visit, i recommend the GRILLED shrimp tacos (the dipping sauce is wonderful), the "Cinco" combo, and the spoon corn bread (it's worth the extra $1.50).

“Average Mexican”
Reviewed August 2, 2012

Typical Mexican food chain. Several Ma & Pa Mexican food places around that I would prefer to go to first. The food is better, with larger portions at a better price.
