“Solid neighborhood Italian place”

Wonderfully friendly owner, very good salad, very good sausage and peppers on pasta and an excellent cannoli. Relaxed neighborhood place with good service and good food.

“Great wine tasting experience”
Reviewed January 26, 2013

We recently attended a Tuesday night wine tasting with another couple and really enjoyed it. For $20 per person we got to taste 6 different Napa Valley wines. There was plenty of house pizza, cheese and crackers, and olives to go with the tastings. The wines were all great, and Mark from Heidelberg distributors was there to provide lots of valuable insight about each one. The restaurant has a cozy family-run feel to it and we will definitely return.

“Claims to be Italian, but not great food”
Reviewed January 21, 2013

Not worth going again. Too much $$ for what the flavors. We've gone twice, and taken family members, but all agreed it wasn't worth it. Just not good food. Period. Nice atmosphere, nothing elegant...but fine. But not good food. Need a new chef that knows how to make real Italian food.

“Excellent Dishes”
Reviewed January 13, 2013

We went to Pitrelli's with another couple. I had the salmon with roasted garlic sauce, my husband had the chicken salad (huge), and our friends had veal and scallops. Everything was tasty.

“Wish The Food Was As Good As The Service”
Reviewed December 14, 2012

TIhe service at this restaurant could not have been better. Every person with whom our party of four dealt was friendly, informative, and efficient. However, the food was decidedly average. I agree with other reviewers who have mentioned the house salad being less than exciting. I had cheese ravioli with the reportedly well-known marinara sauce. Although it was fine, I have had a meal just as good at home with frozen raviolis and any kind of store-bought sauce. And it would have cost less! None of the people I was with raved about their meal--chicken parmesan, eggplant parmesan, and one of the pizzas. The bread was good but not good enough to overcome the lack of excitement in the taste and presentation of the food.
