“Gorgeous! ”

I love lighthouses so seeing this was amazing to me. It is a rough trip to the top though but that was with a young child. It was worth it to say we did it though!

“Worth the stop!”
Reviewed June 18, 2014

Nice, well maintained lighthouse on the shores of Lake Erie. For a couple of dollars, you can climb to the top of the lighthouse, and get great veiws of the lake, and surrounding areas. The park itself is small, but nice. Definitely worth the stop.

lovely sitting by the lighthouse with your feet in the water watching sailboats pass bye, while seeing in the background Cedar Point park. Make you want to get a nearby Netty's Chili Dog!!

“Great View”
Reviewed June 12, 2014

The lighthouse was pretty and the view was great. You can walk down to the water and it's a great place to fish. One of the nicer spots to take pictures and read a little of the history of the area.

“Beautiful Spot, feels like New England”
Reviewed June 4, 2014

We arrived too late to take the lighthouse or museum tour, but will return for that. This park isn't large, but it lives large with gorgeous views of the lakeshore, the islands in the distance, and Cedar Point's roller coasters across the bay. We just walked around and read the historical markers and paused to breathe in the fresh lake air on a beautiful spring day. If you get to Port Clinton, East Harbor, and Port Clinton, its well worth the extra 20 minutes drive to see this park. Afterwards, drive around the peninsula to look for the original light keeper's cottage, and you'll take in some gorgeous lake vistas. No entry fee, so its one of those rare special but totally affordable places to visit.
