Very interesting place to visit. The light built in 1822 is the oldest lighthouse in continuous operation on the entire Great Lakes. Tours of the lighthouse are available during the summer months in which you can walk up the steps to the light and around the rim at the top. There are a lot of weddings that take place at the base of the lighthouse and numerous pictures taken of the wedding parties. Picnic grounds available also.
