See the title. My niece is addicted to it. Yes, it's very good and there's enough for two to share (my niece did NOT share hers, though!). Big, tasty, and with plenty of cream on the plate to smooth over the top.
But the rest of the meal was good, too. Face it -- "Irish Cuisine" is an oxymoron. The Irish believe food is something that soaks up the wee bit of drink, so it's never going to be the main attraction. That said, there were three of us, Sunday afternoon, and we weren't drinking" fish and chips, shepherd's pie, and bangers and mash. All three were just fine. I've had the fish and chips a number of times and never been disappointed. The bangers weren't the most authentically Irish (not "sagey" tasting enough), but they were good. If you don't want something fired, they are a decent choice, as is the shepherd's pie (not my favorite, but my friend enjoyed hers). And did I mention the bread pudding???
There was music starting at 5:00, which was a nice touch for a Sunday afternoon. Next time, we'll plan for the music and dinner, too, so we can stay longer.
Atmosphere is pub-like. You know what to expect. Service was fine.
