Stayed at the Aspen Cabin, very quaint and beautiful. Went to Old Mans Cave, Ash Cave and the Rock House. Really enjoyed the hot tub after that. We loved the place and plan to come back. Maybe in the Fall or Winter.

My husband and I stayed at Bear Run Inn for a few days and really enjoyed our getaway. Everything in the cabin was clean and perfect, and the hot tub on the porch was wonderful. The cabin is in a very private setting, surrounded by woods.

We enjoyed exploring the area (Old Man Cave, Rock House, shopping, winery, moonshine distillery, and local restaurants). It was easy to prepare some simple meals at the cabin and just enjoy the peaceful setting.

We met the owner, Bud, who was very nice and helpful.

Great place, highly recommend!!!

Our group of three couples stayed in the spacious Red Bud Cabin. Convenient location to all that the Hocking Hills area has to offer. The Red Bud exceeded all of our expectations, nice hot tub, fire pit picnic tables, grill, clean cabin, surrounded in solitude and the most gracious hosts that we've ever met!

We stayed in the Evergreen Cabin with three couples. Everything was beautiful and the cabin is the cleanest one we have ever stayed in! The setting is peaceful and though it's a little farther from the state parks, it was no big deal. We had to call the owner when we got the cabin because the cleaning lady forgot to unlock the doors but he was there within 5 or 10 minutes and gave us some great places to eat which having been coming to HH for over 10 years we missed both places before. One was Home Tavern in Logan, we ate lunch and breakfast there, VERY reasonably priced. The other was the Hocking Hills Winery which is new and was a nice surprise.

I laugh at some of these people who give 2 or 3 stars because of petty items. Most of it is user error but they would rather complain. Ignore them, Bear Run is first rate all the way and we will be back. Thanks Phil for your help and tips, we all appreciated it.

Once suggestion and only one would be to update the TV in the living room.

Thank you so much for your generous review! We are pleased to know that you found our Evergreen Cabin to be one of the cleanest you have stayed in. Our housekeeping staff makes every attempt to provide a clean and pleasant facility upon our guest's arrival and we will share your kind words with them. We sincerely apologize that the door was not unlocked for your arrival and will pay more attention to making sure this does not happen again. The Home Tavern has been one of our family favorites for a number of years and are happy to hear that you enjoyed it as well. We expect the new winery to be a welcome addition to our Hocking Hills. Thanks to your suggestion, we plan to upgrading the living room tv. Again, we appreciate your kind words and suggestion and we look forward to your return visit!

I recently booked cottages at Bear Run for a group of educational professionals visiting from Palau. Their experience at Bear Run was wonderful! Everything was perfect and Kirstie (the contact/booking person) was great. This is a top-notch lodging experience and will complement your visit to the wonderful Hocking Hills area!
