After a few days of hiking we were looking for something a little educational for our kids to see before heading out of town. We were too late for the guided tour, but still were able to walk around the factory and the lady working was so kind to show us how they make the washboards. We enjoyed visiting with the owner of the company and hearing about his journey from London. Although we won't use a washboard ourselves, our kids were excited to buy a mini washboard as a souvenir and enjoyed checking out some of the soaps from london that they sell in their gift shop. This "made in the usa" company has an excellent program for sending washboards overseas to military people and we enjoyed reading some of the letters on display from the people who have received them. Be sure to stop!
