We arrived and told them we wanted to do the 7 mi canoe trip, paid, got our paddles, and waited maybe 30 minutes to get in the van. The person who drove us helped us get in the canoe and sent us on our way with directions to the rock bridge. It was beautiful canoe trip and the rock bridge is not all the far from where we started and was a very short (although uphill) hike to get to the rock bridge.
As far as doing the 7 mile trip, it is nice and beautiful but long. Only reason we did it was so we could see the rock bridge. The rock bridge is very cool and a great photo opportunity. The estimated time they gave is probably a pretty good estimate and when they say 2-1/2 to 3 hours paddle time they truly mean PADDLE time. My husband and I don't know how to relax and were back in 2 hour 15 minutes, but that was with some work. It is not guided or anything so you can go at whatever pace you would like. I suggest that if you start to feel a little stiff (kind of hard on the back) and see a place to pull off where you can walk around take it. The last few miles there wasn't really a very good place and I wished I had taken the opportunity. We would definitely go again, it was a beautiful location and the staff was friendly and helpful.
