Bush's Restaurant is clean and fairly economical with a varied menu. The creativity is a little unexpected, as in the salmon was deep fried. However the portions are generous and the food is satisfying.
I had the liver & onions and it was extremely good. As mentioned my friend's salmon wasn't what she had assumed it would be yet it was very tasty and she enjoyed it. Free Wi FI and acceptable coffee were a plus. The desserts looked homemade but we didn't have room to try them.
The owner, waitress and bus girl were all very friendly and happy to chat about their town. The decor is basic, red booths and square tables. I would guess not much has changed since the 70's. Dinner for 3 was only $35.07 (tax incl.) plus tip.
