The Irish inspired Celtic Cottage is truly lovely. The setting is serene and peaceful, away from the world. There is no phone and no Internet access, really offering a break from technology (although the satellite TV, board games and working piano offered plenty of entertainment on a rainy day). Everything was clean, and the deep, claw-foot tub is a really great feature. This cottage is also surprisingly easy to get to (no 4 wheel drive needed). I highly recommend staying here.
We have been to Ireland and so it was a very pleasant surprise when we found this little treasure in Hocking Hills. We are frequent visitors to the area and although we like to try different places I think this one is going to hold a special place in our hearts. I really don't have a negative thing to say. We had a small plumbing problem w/the bathroom sink, but the delightful owner tried to fix it and ended up getting a plumber out the next day. We had a lovely candlelight dinner, then my love serenaded me at the piano (romantic and funny--doesn't get better than that!)--hot tub of course. The stars were brilliant on top of the hill where it sits. Loved it!
