I have stayed at these cabins over and over for the past 3 years-they are truly the best. The staff pamper both you and your pets and are wonderful to work with! Cabins are beautiful with gorgeous designs, private hot tubs, A/C, and all the comforts of home. The grounds are just beautiful and private yet close to nearby attractions. You can't ask for anything better! What a gem!

We stayed in Deer Crossing at Springwood Cabins the weekend of June 15th and were pleasantly surprised. We wanted a relaxing location to spend our Anniversary weekend and wanted somewhere we could take our two dogs. We found the cabin to be immaculate and very welcoming. The owners have since made upgrades to the cabin from what is seen on their website. The front door is no longer a sliding glass door but a very welcoming wooden front door. The bathrooms have also been upgraded with boulder vessel sinks and nice fixtures. Although it is a pet friendly cabin, this cabin was very clean and we did not notice any odors. We enjoyed the spaciousness of the cabin and the hot tub and our dogs enjoyed walking in the woods and swimming in the pond. We appreciated the cabin having a back deck as we could put the dogs out there to dry off without them ever having to enter the cabin. We were not bothered by anyone during our stay and found our weekend to be very relaxing. Our only regret is not being able to stay longer. This was our first time in Hocking Hills and we are already planning our next stay at Springwood Cabins. We would most likely reserve Deer Crossing again and have recommended this property to all of our friends.

After reading the reviews, I didn't know what to expect. When we arrived, we found a beautiful, very well equipped, and spotlessly clean cabin. The decorations were lovely. We stayed in deer crossing and couldn't have enjoyed it more. The staff was very helpful and quick to respond to our needs. We met the owner and she promptly told us to go to ash caves, which we did and loved it! Good people and very nice. Would gladly go there again! Very very satisfied! =)

I have stayed at Springwood Cabins every winter for the last 5 years. Aside from the hot tub/fireplace awesomeness, there are trails right on the property. The cabins are clean, cozy, and everything you would want in a get-away, and they are less than a 5 minute drive from some of the most popular hikes in the area. All of the cabins are pet-friendly (even for enormous puppy dogs like ours), and each cabin is unique and beautiful. We have stayed in 4 out of the 6 cabins, and felt comfortable and at home in each cabin. The staff are friendly, open-minded, and accommodating in ways that most businesses simply aren't. I can't recommend Springwood Cabins enough- once you stay there, you won't want to stay anywhere else.

My husband and I stayed in the Turkey Hollow cabin at Springwood for our first anniversary....and absolutely loved it! It is cute, clean, quiet and secluded--the perfect spot for a romantic get-away. :) The hot tub was well maintained and just a short walk from the cabin. We were a little surprised at the electric 'fireplace,' but that was a minor matter for us. The location is rugged and it is in the woods....so if you're looking for pampering and perfection, this is not the place to go. But if you're looking for a unique place to enjoy a beautiful area, this is it!

We had to change reservation and now sorry we didn't just cancel. The woman who handles
the phone is less than friendly. If you have to make a change, don't expect her to care. We
didn't get email for directions until after we left for Hocking Hills and had to call owner from
the road. The couch was torn and our cabin was in need of insect control. We swatted flies
for 2 days. There was a deer carving at the front door with the antlers broken off. Our cabin (Deer
Crossing) looked like it had hard use. Owner told us to see new cabin "The Rose", and we
walked in to find cleaning lady watching TV. Hot tub needed water changed...have owned one
and know when its time...again, hard use. Appreciate we could bring pet, but there are lots
of pet friendly places in Hocking.
Worst of all... there were no curtains on the windows of our cabin. People staying at the
other cabin had to walk by our bedroom window. What's up with that? We felt overcharged
for what we got. Won't be back!!

This was our second trip to Hocking Hills, and the first time to the area with our dog, so we were looking for pet friendly rentals during our search when we came across Springwood. This was suck a relaxing and fun get away for us. We stayed two nights in Butterfly trail, which had two beds/2 baths, even though it was just my husband, myself and our dog it was nice to have the extra space. The best part about the cabins here are the location, very private, yet close to all the hocking hills attractions approx 1 mile from old mans cave. When we arrived the cabin was clean and had soothing music playing on the TV. The best part was all the special touches for our dog Ernie from a food and water bowl to the filled treat jar for him in the kitchen. He loved staying there. My only suggestion is its time for new mattresses we switched beds half way through the first night because our backs were killing us, and the one shower had a very slow shower head, other than that the kitchen was stocked with what we needed to prepare breakfast and lunch, there were plenty of towels and everything was nice and clean (Especially for a place that pets stay in) We will 100% be back for a seocnd visit and I don't think Ernie will let us go with out him he had so much fun. Please see my other reviews for dining options, there aren't to many.

Room Tip: Butterfly cabin was wonderful.
